How do I know what size is right?

Here's our size guide:

Small: Length 25cm - 45cm (Puppies and toy breeds)

Medium: Length 45cm - 70cm  (Pug. Spaniels, Kelpies)

Large: Length 70cm - 84cm (Labradors, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Staffy)

Each bandana size includes two extended tie ends, allowing for approximately 20–25cm of adjustability, so you have some flexibility to tie it comfortably. If you're in between or or doggo has some extra floof, sizing up usually gives a better fit.

How do I put it on?

Outback Tails bandanas are designed to be easy to wear. Simply fold it into a triangle, wrap it gently around your dog’s neck, and tie a loose double knot. Make sure you can comfortably fit two fingers between the bandana and your dog’s neck for a safe and comfortable fit.

Is it true it can cool off my dog?

Yep! On warm days, you can lightly soak the bandana in cold water, wring it out, and tie it on your dog for a simple cooling effect. The 100% cotton fabric is breathable and lightweight, helping your pupper stay cooler and more comfortable while out and about.

Is it machine washable?

Sure is. Outback Tails bandanas are made from durable, high-quality cotton and are machine washable. Just pop it in with cold water on a gentle cycle and hang it out to dry for a short time. This keeps the colours vibrant and the fabric in great shape.
