How do i serve it?

Keep your meals frozen, then pop one in the fridge to defrost ready for dinner. Forgot? No stress! We recommend placing the sealed meal in a bowl of warm water, where it should defrost in around 5 minutes. Serve as is, or incorporate it into your dog's usual feeding routine.

i already cook their food

That's great! Think of Jack & Chelo as an easy way to save yourself some prep time, have ready in case of emergencies or adding a little more variety to the rotation. If your go-to is meat with fillers like rice or pumpkin to bulk out the bowl, Jack & Chelo meals bring together human-grade Tasmanian meat with vegetables, legumes and superfoods, so you're getting more ingredients in every meal.

Can i mix it?

Absolutely. Jack & Chelo recommend feeding the appropriate whole pouch per day based on your dog's weight range (these 200g pouches are ideal for 15kg doggos), but they also suggest splitting the meal and adding it to dry food, raw meat, bones or bone broth. Remember to take treats and other food into account when working out your dog's overall daily intake.

Why frozen?

Jack & Chelo make their meals fresh every week in small batches in their certified commercial kitchen in Hobart. They're cooked sous-vide at low temperature, then frozen immediately. There are no added preservatives, so freezing keeps the meals fresh until you're ready to serve them.

Freezing means we can get it safely to us here in South Melbourne, as well as ensuring shelf life for you at home.

how much should i feed?

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Age, weight and activity level all matter. Nutritional information and kilojoule count for each recipe can help guide feeding. As a general rule of thumb our 200g pouches are 1 x meal for a 15kg doggo.

If you're unsure about your dog's individual dietary needs, have a chat with your vet.

can i mix & match the 7 pack?

Absolutely. Pick any combination of Beef & Beets, Chicken & Chia and Wallaby & Egg to build your 7 meal box.

why 7?

Because deciding what's for dinner every night is annoying enough when you're feeding yourself. Grab seven and you've got a week's worth sorted. Plus you'll save compared with buying them individually.

Save $6.30 on your 7 pack. It's pretty much a free meal on us!
